8 Simple Hacks on How to Clean Jewelry Without Paying Much

If you are serious about fashion and all its branches, I think you should know by now that jewelry is a great investment. This is what my parents always tell me growing up. The value of a jewelry never dips down even when the entire economy goes on a rollercoaster ride.

I started investing in jewelry after my mom gave me a Chinese gold chain necklace that I now use every day. I hardly ever remove it and keep it even when I’m taking a bath. I stopped doing that when I noticed soap residue in between the chain. I freaked out because I didn’t know how to clean them properly. I went to the nearest jewelry cleaner and I found out that jewelry cleaning is a profitable business. I realized that owning pieces of jewelry is a privilege and not a right. With this, it is also your responsibility to take good care of the jewelry in your possession and be knowledgeable on the different ways to clean it.  Here are 8 simple hacks on how to clean jewelry:

Hack 1

Jewelry Cleaning Cloth

Since I started wearing reading glasses, I noticed how dirt can easily infiltrate the lens. Which is why I always carry with me a cleaning cloth. Story aside, buying a cleaning cloth, mostly made from soft microfiber fabric, can clean not just my eyeglasses, but my jewelry as well. I always wear a thin gold necklace my mom gave me as a present, and I bought a separate cleaning cloth just to cater to the said jewelry. The great thing about this jewelry cleaning material is besides its handiness, they polish really well and produce a shiny outcome.
